Virtual Tours

VIRTUAL TOURS FOR UNIVERSITY, SCHOOL, AND COMMUNITY GROUPS

The New Museum’s Education and Public Engagement teaching staff lead live, participatory, virtual tours of current exhibitions. Inquiry-based tours promote close observation of works of art, critical thinking, and multiple entry points to connect to themes in the exhibition. Tours can be tailored to align with specific themes and curricula.

Virtual tours are free for K-12 public schools and community partners. Guided tours for private schools, colleges, universities, and private groups are $150.00. Tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. For more information and to schedule a tour, contact tours@newmuseum.org.

PUBLIC VIRTUAL TOURS

Join us for live, 45-minute virtual tours that bring people together for close looking and conversations focused on current exhibitions. Virtual tours are free, interactive experiences held on Zoom. A New Museum teaching fellow will share exclusive digital content and introduce themes and artworks, behind-the-scenes insights, and questions for consideration related to art and the exhibition. Tours are offered the first week of each month during exhibitions. For upcoming dates, times, and to register, please view the events calendar.
